Off Shoulder Neckline

The off shoulder neckline is very delicate and romantic. This style accentuates the shoulders and collarbones. This line is great for brides with narrow shoulders. When trying on, make sure you have enough room to move (and dance) in this dress.

V-neck with low-cut

The classic V-neck has been popular among brides for many years. This line is less suitable for brides with a small bust as it draws attention to the neckline and makes you look taller. But such dresses are very sexy and feminine!

Boat neckline

A wedding dress with a boat neckline (round neckline) is the perfect dress for a romantic bride with narrow shoulders and a small bust. The boat neckline wider shoulders visually. Such dresses wore Audrey Hepburn, and recently Meghan Markle.

1. FANTASTICAL BALLGOWNS

Japanese fashion designer Tomo Koizumi worked with retailer Treat Maison to create a capsule of fantastic ballgowns. Galia Lahav takes inspiration from world famous ballerinas to create dimensional tutu layers. Halfpenny London illustrates its out-of-this-world theme with a space cage applique dress. In addition, the ultra-glamorous Los Angeles-based Kynah’s bridal collection features wonderful embroidery and flowing ball gown skirts for South Asian weddings.

2. STREAMLINED GLAMOUR

Minimalism became strong over the course of several wedding seasons (probably also thanks to Meghan Markle). But streamlined options make sense right now, especially for mini weddings, social distance outdoor ceremonies, and post-wedding celebrations. But clean doesn’t mean simple. Rather, expect to see sumptuous fabrics (charmeuse silk, crepe and mikado) and intricate details such as the curved low waistline and perfect pleats from Valentine Avoh, the sophisticated 3D Savanna Miller’s beading and sculpted mermaid silhouette and deep V-neck from Amsale.

3. ROMANTIC JOURNEYS

Miller studies the British medieval mythology of Lady of the Lake. Los Angeles-based company Odylyne the Ceremony is redefining films such as Dracula and Crimson Peak to create their classy Gothic Vampira collection. Valentin Avoh guides Old Hollywood through Sunset Boulevard. France, meanwhile, remains a popular source of design inspiration: Gracy Acaad travels to Versailles, Marchesa studies 17th century French design philosophy, and BHLDN travels to Paris.

4. FAIRY TALE FLORALS

Nature motifs thrive in 2021 collections. Naeem Khan, Mira Zwillinger turns to fairy tales for their dresses, and Eisen-Stein, Elie Saab and Alexandra Greco interpret fabulous flowers and gardens.
